Frequently Asked Questions
Is my data saved if I close the browser?
Yes. Expenses are stored in your browser's localStorage and persist across sessions. Use Export CSV to keep a backup copy.
How accurate is the OCR on receipts?
It works best on clear, printed receipts. The form is always editable, so a partial or failed parse just means you fill in the rest manually.
Can I use it without scanning a receipt?
Yes - the scanner is optional. Click Add Expense and fill in the form directly for any purchase.
